Have you ever heard the phrase “Practice Makes Perfection?” Well, it’s true! The more you practice at something, the better at it you become. Another great phrase is “Reputation is the mother of all learning.” This really strikes home for me as a coach for both corporate America and a high school lacrosse program.  At Grand Dynamics, at the beginning of our events, we often reference the “Experiential Learning Cycle Model”.  This model states that we will soon be entering a series of challenges in which you will DO –> REFLECT–> DEVELOP –> TEST. To further clarify, first, you will try the challenge and see what outcomes occur.  Then you will need to reflect on the overall process you just went through to see what worked well and what could be improved on.  Based on your experience, you will then need to develop a new theory on how to improve upon your initial challenge.  Lastly, you will need to test your new theory to see whether or not you are successful.  …..”
