It does seem weird that the school year is only one month in and it is already time for you to start thinking about your summer lacrosse plans for 2012. Well it is true. Most travel teams will hold their tryouts in November and the top recruiting camps will reach their maximum enrollment in late December. If you haven’t already begun to think about what camps you want to do next summer and more importantly what travel team you want to play for, now is the time. Keep in mind that travel teams are really important because most colleges will be in season and having games the same time that your high school season is in full swing. These college coaches will not be able to get out to your games and will need the summer to make their rounds to see you in action.
